This Privacy Policy explains how Automata Practice Development ("APD," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit automatapracdev.com (the "Site"). We are located at 20555 Devonshire Street #442, Chatsworth, California 91311. Our text messaging program is covered separately by our SMS Privacy Policy.
Information you provide to us:
Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser type, device information, the page that referred you, the pages you view and how you interact with them, your approximate location, and the organization associated with your network. This comes from standard web hosting logs and from the Apollo website tracker described below.
The Site uses the Apollo website tracker, which is the only third-party tracking tool we use. Apollo uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize returning visitors and to identify the company behind a visit. For visitors in the United States, Apollo may also match a visit to an individual by comparing it with Apollo's own database of business contacts.
We do not use advertising cookies or ad retargeting on the Site. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when your browser requests them. We also store your tracking preference in your browser's local storage so we can remember it.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers that process it for us:
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. Some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly enough that Apollo's receipt of visitor data could fall within those definitions. For that reason we offer the choices below.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask for your permission before loading the Apollo tracker, and you can withdraw that permission at any time through "Cookie Settings." We process newsletter information based on your consent, and we process basic Site logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure and working. Information we collect is transferred to and processed in the United States. You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your information, or to receive a copy of it, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, to delete it, or to correct it. You may also opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information using the choices above, and we will not treat you differently for doing so.
In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email address, IP address, and online identifiers), internet activity (pages viewed and interactions), approximate location, and professional information such as your employer (when you give it to us or Apollo identifies it). We collect this information from you and from Apollo, and we use it for the purposes described in "How We Use Information." To make a request, email support@automatapracdev.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on it.
We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe, and we keep correspondence for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep Site logs and visitor data only as long as we need them for the purposes above. Apollo keeps information it holds according to its own policies.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
The Site links to other sites, including Calendly, LinkedIn, and our Trust Center. We do not control those sites, and their own privacy policies govern what they collect.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
