Process Discovery
Our project managers will conduct a Process Discovery interview. They will ask questions about your current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for automation.
Document Procedures
We will record and document the steps that you are taking to for the procedures including trying to catch outlier situations. Using this, we will build a scope of work and an analysis of savings when implementing the RPA.
Design, Build, Test, and Deploy
Using the scope and the documentation, our US based engineers will design, build and test the RPA project. Once we have completed testing internally, we deploy it to your RPA platform to your system. Depending on the complexity, projects can be completed within a few days.
Maintain for the Future
As part of the maintenance plan for your RPA, we will make adjustments to your RPA to conform and optimize based on changes in the software that the RPA is interacting with.
RPA Platform Setup
If you are running Windows 11, then it is already setup on your computer. Go into Start then to Windows Tools. Double click on Power Automate and sign in with your Microsoft account. You are now ready to build.
But if you want to build a system of RPA flows for your firm or flows that are cloud base, we can help. We can setup your RPA platform to get you started. Documentation can seem like a foreign language. Our engineers will get you up and running on the on the Power Automate RPA platform.

Power Automate Basic Course
All RPA starts with a base of knowledge. This training will cover the basics of RPA on Microsoft Power Automate.
Topics include:
- Interface
- Variables
- Conditionals
- Loops
- Flow Control
- UI Automation
- Excel Integration
- Message Boxes
By the end, you should be able to build an RPA that will input into tax software and extract data from software.
Training will be approximately 3 hours.
Power Automate Advanced Course
With a foundation to work from, you can move on to advances topics. This training will cover advanced topics that will unlock the full power of RPA.
Topics include:
- Advanced variables
- Advanced Conditionals
- Advanced Loops
- Advanced Flow Control
- Files and Folders
- Compression
- Browser Automation
- Date Time
- Databases
By the end, you should be able create lists of advanced variables, manipulate file systems, send emails with PDF attachments, and connect to databases. The portion on connecting to databases will be using some SQL to get information from a database.
Training will be approximately 3 hours.

RPA and the Accountant: Power Automate Starter
All RPA starts with a base of knowledge. This training will cover the basics of RPA on Microsoft Power Automate. We will walk through building a basic input project into tax software.
Topics include:

- Loops
- Flow Control
- UI Automation
- Excel Integration
- Message Boxes
After completing the course, you will be able to build an RPA that will extract data from tax software into a spreadsheet and input date from a spreadsheet into tax software.
Training will be approximately 3 hours.
RPA and the Accountant: Power Automate Intermediate
The next level RPA will work on efficiency, data mining and some decision making using the RPA tools. We will identify new areas of our tax software and how to manipulate them. This course has 2 projects.
- We will do a more complicated build of inputting of the Sch E data into Pro System fx Tax by adding the inputs at the bottom of the form and how to track positioning of the sheets. While this may seem like a repeat of the starter course, this course will use more efficient methods through the RPA for both faster running and readability.
- We will build and RPA that will check for conditions within a tax return. If the condition is met, then the RPA will data mine information from the return and merge it into text to input as footnotes.

We recommend that you only take this training if you have already completed the starter course, attended the RPA session at the AICPA Engage conference or if you have some experience in programming.

RPA and the Accountant: Power Automate Advanced
With a foundation to work from, you can move on to advances topics. This training will cover advanced topics that will unlock the full power of RPA. We will build an email tool that will look into a database, compile attachments, and combine multiple emails into a single package.
